The fenugreek powder is a white loose milky powder with a viscosity 5-10 times higher than sodium alginate, which is a naturally occurring plant gum. Fenugreek powder is soluble in water, but insoluble in alcohol, ketones, ethers, and other organic solvents. It can also be dispersed into cold water where it forms a viscous solution.
